To obtain snowplowing, you must complete a “Snowplowing Agreement”. Submit the completed form along with the applicable fee to the treasurer – Lesa Dahlstrom, W8885 Co Hwy B, Shell Lake, WI 54871

Upon receipt of the completed form, and fee, you will be issued a flag which is to be displayed at the end of your driveway/road in easy view of the plow operator.

Residents of private roads are responsible for collecting the appropriate fee for the road from land owners and submitting it to the treasurer along with a signed “Snowplowing Agreement – PRIVATE ROAD”. Residents on the roads wishing to have their driveway plowed must also pay a driveway fee and submit a driveway “Snowplowing Agreement”.

Roads will be opened prior to driveways being plowed. Driveways will not be plowed for small amounts of snow or when the ground is not frozen and will not support the plow vehicles without damage to the driveway. Any questions should be directed to the plow operator.

The Town reserves the right to reject any driveway for plowing or require it to be brought up to standards. Once signed, the agreement will remain in force until cancelled by resident or town, or by non-payment of fee.

This service is provided at the discretion of the residents as voted at the Annual Meeting and subject to change.
